COMPLIANCE

When you are using impact-attenuating material such as bark, wood chips etc. surrounding playground equipment your pre-school playground surfacing is required to have a certificate of compliance and for other playgrounds certification is recommended. Among its areas of concern; the latest version of safety standard NZS5828:2004 which came into effect April 2006, is the quality and quantity of material and being used to protect children from injury in the event of a fall.

eco-mulch's Eco-Play playground surfacing "Eco-Max" for pre-school applications & "Eco-Nuff" for school & council playground applications can be delivered in bulk & manually spread or delivered & applied by specialized mulch blower vehicle.

eco-mulch does not produce and strongly recommends against the use of any bio-hazardous raw material such as timber treated with CCA or similar timber preservatives in the manufacture of any ground or shredded surfacing products
